Abstract

This research investigates one of the contemporary jurisprudence issues. As the phenomenon of marriage to non-Muslim women is spreading at a large scale, I decided to look into it in order to show its severe dangers on our young men and women. In this research, I discussed the definition of marriage, its constitution, and the impact of the original and the emergent religion on the marriage line. The impact of difference in the original religion includes the verdict of marriage to a non-holy book woman, semi-holy book woman, and holy book woman. I also discussed getting married to women who belong to certain religious factions such as Shiites, Druze, Bahaism, and other factions.

The impact of the emergent religion includes the verdict of marriage line upon conversion of either spouse to Islam or conversion of either one from Islam to another religion.

In this research, I also discussed the impact of differences in religion on the accessories of the marriage line such as marriage witnesses, marriage guardianship, costs, alimony, inheritance, and others. I concentrated on the marriage phenomenon with non-Muslim women in age, including its negative effects and damages. I also put forward some suggestions and recommendations to deal with this phenomenon and restrict its spread.
